Part B of the shifter assembly rebuild. The first video (Part A) covered all items inside the engine case, mainly the shifter drum and transmission forks. This video covers all items external to the engine case, i.e. – the items that actually interact with your foot to move the components inside the engine case. Because of the number of parts and number of springs that need continuous pressure applied to, this is probably the most difficult of the assembly jobs I’ve run into so far on the engine. You definitely will need the parts fiche handy to show you where each part is. All of the bolts / screws are 6mm, so a 9ft/lbs torque wrench setting should be good for everything. Good luck.
